We are excited to welcome you to the 2022 preview event of The Encore, Marbella’s festival of classical music. On July 20, 2022, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentini and superstar conductor, Maestro Zubin Mehta, will take the stage of the newly-revitalized Marbella Arena. Over 150 of the world’s most accomplished musicians and artists will give a monumental live performance of Beethoven’s 9th symphony. Two centuries after it was written, Beethoven’s final masterpiece continues to delight and inspire music enthusiasts around the world. With the iconic Marbella Arena, the dazzling resort town has a new, one-of-a-kind venue for culture and entertainment. The old bullring of Nueva Andalucía, a unique 1965 building signed by the architect Luis María de Gana y Hoyos has recently undergone an extensive revitalization project to become a state-of-the-art auditorium with the capacity of accommodating over 5,000 people.
